I don't know where the time goes. Can it be six months since we last considered a cardigan tune? Listening to Want Me from London singer-songwriter Jacob Allen, aka Puma Blue, I thought it was time to drop another tune on the record deck. He has a passing resemblance to Ian Curtis in the photo above.

With its late-night feel, roaming laid-back vocals and muted jazz distortions, Want Me is more a song to unbutton a cardigan by. One you might play arriving home after a late night at the Colony Room in Soho putting up with the insufferable banter of Jeffrey Bernard and George Melly.
