Happy Saint David's Day

Happy Saint David's Day to all our Welsh readers. I will be scoffing Welsh cakes and laverbread (from The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company) in my CORGI blue socks, and listening to the wonderful Welsh singer Cate Le Bon to celebrate (as much as a very Englishman is allowed).

Iechyd da, boyos

It is always preferable to hear a British singer's natural voice, without the unecessary pretence of singing in an inauthentic American accent. Cate retains a pleasing Welsh lilt in her lovely singing voice with the sublime Shoeing the Bones (below). She manages this whilst living in Los Angeles funnily enough.
